Snow Storm

Well, things are pretty wintery here in Ketchikan. We are expecting a big snow storm tonight, that is expected to dump up to 18 inches of snow. Here is my deck railing right now, we'll see how it looks in the morning!! The wind is really picking up, and the sky is really gray, so maybe this time the weather man will be right.

Hmmm...and to think that last weekend I was walking barefoot in the sand on Smather's Beach in Key West. Oh well! We are having some of the same wintery weather here on this end as well. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

So did you take a picture of your slush covered deck after our "snow" storm? It wasn't the winter wonderland I was hoping for, but I guess we live in a RAIN forest, not a SNOW forest. :) And it did provide us with a day off school! Well, maybe that was more exciting for me than for you...

Well the weatherman was wrong. I heard anywhere from 4 inches to your whopping 18 inches. Hmmmmmmm. Except for the driving, I think I would have enjoyed seeing more snow (for awhile that is).
