LOOK OUT WORLD HERE I COME!!

Evan took his first steps early last week. Each day he gets more and more confident, and each day we get a little more scared!

WE WILL MISS YOU KAREN!!

This morning, Karen, Laurie, my Mom and I got together for a last cup of coffee before Karen and Grant leave Ketchikan for a new life down in Washington!! We had a great visit. Over the last 15yrs the four of us have had some great fun together. We have spent many Saturday mornings garage saling, and enjoying each others company over breakfast. We struck out alot at garage sales, but one thing that was always for sure, Karen would always find something that we had to tell her to put back......we would always laugh ALOT!! I have also enjoyed singing with Karen on numerous occasions, she is just so fun to be around.....Karen you are loved very much and will be missed!!

OUCH x 2!!

Poor Adam, was playing on he and Jaden's "pirate ship" in the back yard yesterday, when we heard a blood curdling scream and saw Adam running around the house with blood everywhere. He had "walked the plank" but fallen half way down, onto the ground. Through his tears he informed me that he was "never ever going outside to play again!!"

The end result this morning was a huge fat lip.

6/27/06 We had another casualty today that ended in a fat lip. Jaden was running on the deck and fell right onto the step. He hit his front tooth too though and I think it may fall out, it is definatley a little loose. Funny thing is that I did exactly the same thing when I was little, my tooth turned black.......not great for pictures.

We are making a start!!

We were excited to see the first load of lumber arrive for our new church sanctuary yesterday. Another load arrived today. Even my Dad got in on the act of unloading the trailer.

The big boys were out on Saturday loading up our truck with wood for Uncle David & Auntie Jenn's woodstove.

COME ON ENGLAND!!

As some of you may know, the World Cup is currently going on and England just got through to the second round!! My brother educated me on this :) For the next month, my family are eating and breathing soccer. My poor Mom and sister-in-law have become soccer widows. Fortunately, I have an American husband who couldn't care less about it!! My kids however have to be patriotic to their mothers homeland!!

Beautiful Weather

We have been experiencing some fabulous weather over the last week. It has been in the 70's and has reached into the 80's. The kids have been outside just about all day everyday, it has been great!!

Our little boy graduated Pre-Kindergarten on Thursday night!! We are very proud of him. Jaden has grown so much over the last year, he is so much more confident and ready to make friends. We are thrilled with his progress. He had a wonderful teacher this year, and a very nice group of friends!!

FOLD

Last night our fold went down to the beach for a hotdog roast. It was so much fun, the kids loved looking in the rock pools and found lots of crabs!! Even Leah held a crab but we had to draw the line when she tried to eat him!!

Florida Fishing!!

During our time in Florida, Jasen decided to take the boys fishing for the first time. He bought some minnows for bait, which were pretty much dead or wishing they were by the time it was time to go. I caught Jaden throwing them around the porch, and when I told him not to do that to the poor minnow, he said "no he likes it, he is playing with me!!" So anyway, they had a good time, Jaden caught two fish, neither of which were keepers one actually jumped out of the bucket and back into the canal, it probably saw what happened to the minnows at the hands of Jaden & Adam!! Both boys were very proud of themselves!

DEAL OR NO DEAL!!!!

I know I have told some of you, but for those who don't know I applied to be a contestant on DEAL OR NO DEAL!!! For all you poor people who haven't seen it, you are missing out!! It is so much fun to watch. I figured if you don't ask, you don't get, so why not me!!!! I had to make a 5 minute video plus fill out a huge application and attach pictures, lots of work but it will be worth it if I get on. Even more worth it if I win the million!! So keep your fingers crossed for me!!!
