Off to the Sunshine!

We are heading off to the Florida sunshine today woo hoo!!! We are in desperate need of a rest and someone is in desperate need of a grandchild fix!! See you in a few days :)

Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We hope you all had a great day. We had a wonderful day with friends and family. We missed my Mom & Dad though and wished they could've been with us. Jasen, Jaden & Adam started the day with a breakfast at the church, then we all went to the main service.

We took lots of pictures of the kids today, although I failed to get a really good one. Trying to get four little kids to sit still, look at the camera AND smile at the same time is not for the fainthearted! Anyway, I got a few cute ones.

We had an afternoon of fun with the Radfords, the Baums, the Goulds Jr, and Tim Lindseth. The Linders had planned on joining us too, but Ken was sick. We missed you guys, and thanks for the great desserts :)

Auntie Jenn brought another yummy cake today, which, as you can see was very popular with the babies. Of course it didn't help the Auntie Jenn gave them a double helping which they finished up with now help from anyone else!!!

We all ate too much food, and just kept going back for more. I think Leahs face shows how we were all feeling by the time the day came to an end!!

Productive

Over the last week or so we have been very productive in the Wickert home! Jasen built gates on our deck, so now both the babies and the dog can go outside without me having to worry about them running away! Evan escaped from the house too many times, we had to do something!

I have been spring cleaning this last week or so, doing all those things that you generally put off. Washing windows, cleaning out closets, draws, cupboards, amongst other things. It feels very rewarding to get this stuff done. I think the sunny weather has been a motivator for me :)

It is still pretty cold though, but that doesn't seem to stop the kids from wanting to be outside. here are some cute pics from the last few days.

Spring has Sprung!

I am a little hesitant, but I think I will go out on a limb and say that "Spring has arrived" It is such a beautiful day today, the sun is shining and the sky is blue! Jasen took Jaden, Adam & Macy down to the beach this morning before church.


Everyone went outside again this afternoon, what a difference good weather makes!
