A New Post!

Ok, so for the ones that have been giving me a hard time about not updating our blog...here ya go! I have lots of new pictures and news to share, which I will do over the next few days. But it is gone 10:00 and I am really tired, so here is one to wet your appetite.....

The other day I was in the kitchen when I heard a little voice, "Mommy Duck, Mommy Duck, Mommy Duck, Mommy Duck, Mommy Duck" It was coming from the twins room. I thought maybe they had found a book with ducks in it or by some miracle that they were sweetly playing together with their animals. However when the little voice kept on persisting "Mommy Duck" I thought I should check it out. This is what I found...Poor Evan STUCK!!!

No More Training Wheels!!!

The last three weeks has been really full. We have had some nice weather which has forced us outside!!! I haven;t felt like i had that much to blog about, but something very noteworthy happened on Tuesday....Adam learned to ride his bike without training wheels!! He is doing great, we are very proud of him :)

Family, Fun, Friends, Birthdays, 4th of July......

The last six weeks have just been a blur for us. The birth of little Abigail started everything, and it was crazy from then on! It has all been fun crazy though, and we have enjoyed some great times with friends and family.

My Nana arrived the same day that Jenn's family left. The kids had a great time with her, and it was hard to let her go home

The day before Nana left, Jasen's Dad and Stepmom flew in from North Carolina for a few days. We were able to celebrate both Jaden's and the twins birthday while everyone was here. THe party deserves it's own post though....too many good pictures (thanks Becky).

And last but not least, we had a great 4th of July with family and friends. Dave and Jenn had us all over for a yummy BBQ dinner! Now it is back to routine, and normalcy :)

Family Day

We had the rare opportunity to spend the WHOLE day together today!! Jasen decided to take the day off from his current project, so we packed up the kids and the dog, picked up Sydney on
the way and headed up to Kristi and & Jeremy Baums beach.

With five dogs and four kids, Jasen, Kristi & I felt like we could be overthrown at any moment, but we had so much fun!

The kids had a great time playing with rocks and finding critters! They were fascinated with the Star Fish. The tide was out so there were loads of them along the rocks. Leah did an excellent job of keeping them in line!

Fun in the Sun!

We have finally been blessed with some beautiful weather over the last couple of days. The kids have taken full advantage of it as you can see. We are praying that it continues........

I decided to jump into the first of a few large projects on the agenda for the summer. The boys enjoyed helping me with cleaning our house siding!!

What a Week!!

Last week was full of fun and celebration!! Firstly we celebrated the birth of little Abigail Faith, she was born on Tuesday night, we are all thrilled and in love with this sweet baby girl.
Secondly, we celebrated Jasens's 36th birthday last night. We had a great time and were really blessed to have the Maloneys with us too.



Then last but not least Jaden learned to ride his bike today without training wheels!!! He is SO proud of himself, and rightly so. Time goes by very fast, it has been almost 6years since he was Abigails size...... my babies are growing up FAST!!

Future Olympian

We definitely have a future Olympian in our family. Jaden took part in Clover Pass School's field day this morning, and we were very proud of his effort and achievements!! He got some serious air on the long jump, and his form wasn't bad either........

To see how far he has come over the last year has been amazing. Most of the credit for his increased self confidence goes to Mrs. Baum, who has been an excellent teacher and has consistently pushed him out of his comfort zone in a very loving way. We had a lot of fun cheering everyone on.
